Walkabout Lodge

Providing a large proportion of temporary accommodation in town the walkabout lodge is a classy bar and restaurant perfect for a semi formal function or a birthday party. Often confused with the Walkabout tavern, which caters for a different clientele, the walkabout lodge does not gain the patronage that it deserves.

The restaurant provides some of the best food in town with special dishes every week. A great place for a romantic dinner or just somewhere to relax with quality food, relaxing surroundings and friendly staff.

The Walkabout Lodge and Tavern is conveniently located near the town centre shopping centre precinct (only a short 200m walk), where you can obtain tourist information and all your shopping, banking and postal requirements.

The guests are accommodated in comfortable air-conditioned rooms (single, double/twin or triple) with ensuite bathrooms and patio or balcony. All rooms contain cable TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, irons and ironing boards. The Lodge has
a fully licensed restaurant with poolside dining, a cocktail bar with large plasma screen and a shaded resort swimming pool. Our function facilities are available to cater for small to medium conferences and seminars.
